Section 1 of Te Whau Pathway is made up of three sections –Archibald Park, Olympic Park and Ken Maunder. Once complete, Te Whau Pathway will cover 13kms shared path linking Green Bay to Te Atatu Peninsula along the western edge of the Whau River. FDS completed Archibald Park over the winter months in 2015. It was an extremely successful pathway and has had great publicity. Staff from FDS were invited to attend the opening in October 2015.
This opening was a proud moment for FDS as the finished product was of top standard. Details of the path are on the Auckland Council website.
